This method avoids penetrating the membrane while creating a stable, elevated platform that instantly enhances the overall appearance of the space. PROJECT 1: Dollarton
Resurfacing over existing vinyl decking with NeoLine composite boards using the NeoLine floating decking system is an efficient way to transform a dated patio into a refined, high-performance outdoor space. Installed over low-profile aluminum joist sleepers, this system preserves the underlying membrane while delivering a clean, elevated finish that is durable, low-maintenance, and visually seamless. Paired with the replacement of the old wood railing with frameless glass railing, the entire patio is opened up—maximizing sightlines, enhancing natural light, and creating a sleek, contemporary aesthetic. At Burkeridge, 4 patios demanded a solution that could perform reliably over torch-on membranes while delivering a refined, modern finish. The project team selected the NeoLine system, utilizing aluminum sleepers paired with Desert Sage composite decking to create a durable, low-maintenance outdoor space.
Built specifically for rooftop conditions, the aluminum sleeper system provided a stable, non-invasive structure that protected the membrane while ensuring proper drainage. The lightweight components made installation efficient, and the clean, consistent layout elevated the overall design.
Finished in NeoLine’s Desert Sage, the rooftop decks now offer a warm, natural aesthetic with long-term performance. Resistant to moisture, weathering, and corrosion, the system delivers a permanent and visually striking solution—transforming the Burkeridge rooftops into functional, lasting outdoor spaces.
